DAILY PRAYERS FOR ADOPTED PRIEST.

• In the name of the Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit we pray:

Come, Holy Spirit, come by means of the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, your well beloved Spouse, and fill her beloved son Father..............................with your many gifts, especially those of faith, hope, purity, fidelity, love and sanctity.

Enlighten him to place his vocation in her hands and to consecrate himself to her Immaculate Heart and to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Divine Mercy.

• Third Glorious Mystery of the Rosary (the coming of the Holy Spirit)
— and then say :

 
• Come, Holy Spirit and empower Father.........................with the vision of St. Paul; the faith of St. Peter and the fearlessness of St John the Baptist.

• Offer one Mass per week for your adopted priest.

• Pray daily the Prayer to St Michael, the Archangel for him.

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in the hour of conflict; be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God restrain him, we humbly pray; and do thou O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, thrust Satan down to hell and with him all the wicked spirits, who wander through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

• Whenever you think of your priest (or one of our bishops) he may be in need of prayer then so say: Blessed Michael, Archangel, please help and protect Father.....................at this time.
